[포스퀘어 본사에 보내는 이메일] A New Badge : G20 Seoul Summit 2010

I am one of the enthusiastic foursquare users in Korea.

I have managed a Twitter account [Foursquare Seoul : http://twitter.com/4sqSEOUL ] for some time, and this account has already been registered in the world foursquare community network [http://4sqindy.east44.com/foursquare-...]

I am also a member of the Korea Foursquare community. [Our community boasts more than 3,000 members.] There are lots of foursquare users here in Korea, despite the fact that the iPhone was introduced to the market only last December. Now, with the number of smart phone users growing rapidly, the future of foursquare seems to be bright in Korea.

After the foursquare gained popularity in 2010 in Korea, a number of similar LBS were launched in Korea. Most of them offer almost identical functions as foursquare but they are growing fast with their home turf advantages, and due to their prompt feedbacks from Korean users.
And I think it is just the right time that foursquare provide something “locally attractive” to its Korean fans.

So I, on behalf of the Korean foursquare users, would like to ask for a new foursquare badge commemorating the G20 Seoul Summit 2010.

The G20 Seoul Summit 2010 is taking place in the second week of coming November. Twenty world leaders (including the president Obama) will gather together in Seoul this November to discuss the state of the global economy as it emerges from the financial crisis. In addition to heads of government from the twenty member countries, central bankers, finance ministers, and the heads of key international institutions including the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank and the Financial Stability Board will participate in during the November 11-12 meetings. The Republic of Korea is delighted to host this unique event.

I have no connection with the G20 summit committee. I just hope that the foursquare would become more popular service in my country and Korean people would just enjoy it more.
